Introduction

The Plastic Industry has developed enormously over recent years, even outstripping development in the steel industry. The plastic revolution is mainly down to the advantages of plastic over traditional materials.

The Automobile Sector has been one of the driving forces behind this revolution in materials. As demand in this sector grew, so it needed to be catered for.

COLPLAST started out in July 1989 to supply companies which did not have facilities of their own capable of properly finishing plastic parts. It has grown, however, to become an integral part-supply/assembly-process service.

Since the outset, COLPLAST's aims have been to:

• Help achieve an end product of the highest possible quality
• Offer reasonable prices
• Be highly flexible in terms of types of material, sizes, series and colours.

COLPLAST is now able to offer its customers all of the experience acquired since the company was founded more than a decade ago.

ISN relies on COLPLAST as part of the integrated service we provide our customers with, the fundamental goal of our companies.

After analysing the demands of our customers and the market in general, the Injection, Paint and Assembly Service was ISN's way of pooling our customers' needs and providing a complete, higher-quality service, moulding times to current-day requirements.

In addition to the COLPLAST facilities, we have specialised plants and facilities in complementary areas in order to provide an integrated service:

• Plastic part injection. Urnieta Plant
• Plastic part painting. COLPLAST (Madrid)
• Metal part painting. ISP (Madrid)
• Part assembly and pre-assembly. COLPLAST (Madrid); IEM (Navarra)

This integration means that controlled parts follow the entire production process within a single management, quality and process control system.
